Student transfers from other schools

Applications to transfer a student from another school can be made at any time during the year. Students who reside within the catchment area are automatically accepted after the EMP criteria are satisfied. Applications from students who reside outside of the catchment area will added to the waiting list and an offer of enrolment made, based on the availability of space, at the time that the enrolment is to commence.

An enrolment interview is held for all students prior to commencing school. The enrolment process includes completion of a number of forms, an outline of several key school policies and the collection of summary information around each child’s academic achievements and school behaviour. This requires approximately half an hour per student. Previous report cards and assessments are useful to bring to the interview and assist in placing students in appropriate classes. This interview is conducted by the relevant deputy principal for that particular range of year levels. As part of our school uniform expectations all students be attired in school uniform from the first day of attendance as this helps new children quickly settle in and feel comfortable in their new school setting.
